How is the Gondola MCP different from other travel MCP servers?

Most travel MCP servers are flights-only or return cash-only pricing. Gondola covers hotels, flights, and rental cars and shows cash and award (points) rates side by side with a cents-per-point value. Your agent can compare ways to pay, then hand supported hotel and rental car options to checkout. It's built for points and miles.

Can my agent actually earn me money?

On eligible hotel and rental car bookings, Gondola can help you keep provider loyalty benefits, earn card rewards, and receive Gondola Cash. Flight search is discovery-only today, so flight rewards depend on where and how you complete the booking.

Is the Gondola MCP free?

Yes, the Gondola MCP is free to use. Sign in to your Gondola account through the standard OAuth flow, then start searching. Your MCP client manages the connection, so there is no API key to copy or paste.

What hotel chains are supported?

The Gondola MCP searches Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, Accor, Wyndham, and more — every major hotel chain worldwide. You get Member rates, AAA rates, package rates, and loyalty points redemptions in every search.

What rates does the MCP return?

Unlike OTA APIs that only return public rack rates, the Gondola MCP returns Member rates, AAA rates, and package rates — the same pricing you'd see logged in on the hotel's own website. These rates are only available by booking directly with the hotel.

Can my agent book hotels through the MCP?

Your agent searches, compares, and hands off: get_booking_link returns a checkout link for the exact rate it recommended, and the traveler completes payment on Gondola. Bookings go directly through the hotel, so travelers can earn eligible loyalty points, status nights, and credit card rewards. In-conversation booking that charges a saved card (book_hotel) is limited to approved booking partners. Get in touch if that is you.

Can the MCP search and book rental cars?

Yes. Alongside hotels, the Gondola MCP searches rental cars at airports and cities worldwide across vendors like Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, and Alamo. Your agent can compare rates, check whether a credit card already covers rental insurance, and hand off to checkout with get_vehicle_booking_link so users earn loyalty points and Gondola Cash.
